I was lucky enough to be in the opening night and Saturday matinee audiences and I am here to tell you GET TO THIS SHOW IF ITS THE LAST THING YOU DO!!! Clay is just beyond words talented! The man can act, dance, the British accent was spot on, and of course we know he has the comedic timing and singing gifts. This was soooooo much more than I ever dreamed. Seeing Clay from the 3rd row of Section 101 (after we were relocated) was such a treat! He looked divine and sang like an angel. Of course we were all holding our breath for that note in AIW but our concerns were groundless...he aced it! I think he charmed ALL of the female skaters and I'm sure that some of the skating fans who were there will be looking for MCWL and AIW! New York City Falls In Love With Clay Aiken! That should be the headline in today's paper. I was blessed, absolutely blessed to attend the Tribute last evening. Just got back from a trip to the NC State Fair in Raleigh and had my first fried Snickers! OMG!!! Heaven on a stick! You just have to try one if you ever get the chance. Not at all what I expected. Yuuuuuuuuummmmyyyy!!! Got a chance to meet Stephen Curtis Chapman and get his autograph on my e-ticket. Great concert! Now...on to the Sedaka Tribute on Friday!!! I'm excited beyond words. -

I was up till 2 a.m. playing with getting my home page customized. I had so much fun learning how to make all the changes that make the page truly my own. I'm really loving this new look and all the fun features....remember....change is good! Had so much fun at my 10 summer concerts seeing Clay and all of my Clay buddies. It was great catching up with old friends and meeting "like lots" of new ones. Now I'm chomping at the bit for the Sedaka Tribute in October. Got the VIP tickets in the mail Friday; 2nd row right orchestra! Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Love Neil and hope that Clay will be at the reception! Gotta shop!!! Then off to Vegas...

Wonderful to meet you. Spending lots of time streaming and voting these days, but am hitting brick walls on Musiqtone. Clay just cannot catch a break. How ridiculous to remove him from the list, because other fans will get discouraged. He was unbeatable. NOW, Chris and Carrie are back on top and all is well with them. Good grief. Why wouldn't the same rules apply to THEM? No other artist will pass them up, but they don't seem to mind that. YIKES
Going to CT. in the morning for my sister's 50th anniversary party, and will be back next week. In and out of here for most of the summer, so maybe, I won't miss Clay as much. Sure! LOL I use my sister's computer and her library every single day I am there, and always manage to find computer time no matter where I am.
My HUGE poster of Clay is still on the mantle, but we will move it to the bedroom wall. LOL That's the only place I have room, and Harry doesn't give a twit. He gave up long ago, and, truthfully, he likes Clay a lot. He is just frustrated with him for not standing up for himself more, and he's not wild about his choices..... We are both hoping Clay will rise up and tour again. His leaving the business would leave a HUGE hole in my life. Don't think that will happen though.

Thanks for your nice comment. Yours are great, too! Yes, it was wonderful that day. We didn't get home until 11:30 Tuesday night and I've been sick since getting home. But well worth it to be that close to The Man!
